You may be right. A lot of teams would love to have our QB problem.

Why are we even having this debate? I say Lee will get more throws in blowouts at the QB spot...but Shep will be on the field a lot more in some capacity because he will be included in the offense from Day 1..there hasn't been a player both coaches and fans were thrilled about getting since K Faulk....besides, what does it matter

As far as the QB position..unless he gets injured, JJ will be taking all of the snaps that matter.

Shep will be on the field. No redshirt.

You dont f*cking redshirt a 6.1-rated player like Russell Shepard. You put him on the field because the defense knows he's a serious weapon. Even his mere presence on the field is enough to shake up defenses.

Well, of course not. JJ will be the starting QB. They'll use Shep like Percy Harvin: slot receiver, Wild Tiger formation, RB throws, trick plays.... even as a decoy.

have you really seen all you need to see from JJ to be so sure in that statement?
Seriously?

I've seen enough of Jarrett Lee to know that I don't want HIM to be the starter. That kid is psychologically damaged. JJ is the lesser of the two evils. Besides, remember a QB by the name of Matt Mauck that only started the bowl game and took our team to a NC? He started THIS VERY BOWL, the Peach Bowl, and the next year we wone the NC.

You surely didn't watch the Troy game. You sounded stupid anyway. If JJ goes down, I take Lee over Shepard any day b/c Lee got the experiences.

Well, I've read enough of your posts to know that YOU are not very intelligent.

You mean the one that was 5 years older when he started than Jarett Lee was last year? That Matt Mauck?

No, he didn't. That was Matt FLYNN, you dumbfrick.

Hardly. I just can't stand when LSU fans eat their own. Especially when it's based on poor logic. Our guys should be given the benefit of the doubt. I will say that you piss me off lately more than most. But it's actually because I liked you. You've made me laugh many times on here. I just hate to see you go the way of the Rantard.

Lee. I'd be surprised if RS has many passing attempts at all. I see him as a gimic, wildcat, possibly slot position next year, not too many reps at true QB.

Just a guess.

The more I think of this the more I wish they'd redshirt Shep. I just don't see us having room on the field next year at QB or WR. Depending on what happens with our QB's, I would really like to see Shep at WR though.
