Over protection of the quarterback is one of the worst things they've done to football. If your line isn't good enough to block or you aren't good enough to get the ball out/avoid pressure then your offense should be forced to play more conservatively. They're way too lenient and inconsistent with 15 yard penalties/automatic first downs.
