Not surprising. I was wondering why he wasn't being talked about.

as dumb as it sounds, it might be a good thing. Our other backs deserve some carries and with rs in the backfield it would be better to go with pure speed than a bruising back.

I believe Miles said that a handful of juniors, including Scott, submitted their paperwork to scouts to get their projections. Miles said he should receive these back and discuss with the player. I don't think anything has come back yet.

Because there isn't a huge demand for RBs this year after last year's monumental class, and because there are a few guys ahead of him (Moreno, Greene, McCoy, Spiller, etc.)

Scott was the fastest back last year.

Plus it helps with recruiting.

Losing Scott is a net loss of course. I'll miss #32 when he leaves.

It sounds pretty dumb. He was, after all, an all-SEC back.

I think you have to throw Beanie Wells in there too. But I wouldn't put Spiller ahead of Scott. Haven't watched enough of McCoy.

Scott was not the fastest back last year. Murphy and Williams were much faster. Scott's speed was apparent on several plays where we was run down in th open field by linebackers.

McCoy already said he's coming back and I doubt Spiller goes out. Beanie will be ahead of him though

Dude,

I can say this:

EVERY JUNIOR will go pro...IF they are projected to go early enough!!!

That is not even debatable!

Yep, totally slipped my mind. He'd be #2 behind Moreno IMO.

I'm just going off of what I think Spiller will do at the combine. He's productive in college and will more than likely test better than most RBs.

Pretty consistent workhorse. A lot similar to what Kevin Smith did at UCF, though not as impressive.

I'd say:

1. Moreno
2. Wells
3. Greene
4. Spiller
5. Scott
6. McCoy
7. Ringer
8. Davis

Then you've got guys like PJ Hill, Ian Johnson, Sutton, and that guy at UCONN. Lots of good RBs again that could pass Scott if he doesn't have good workouts.

It'll be nice to see Stevan Ridley finally get some well-deserved playing time.

Charles Scott has been a great Tiger on the field, and a solid attitude on the team, I wish him well in the NFL.

yea live in the area and all reports around here have been that McCoy is returning next year. He's a good steady back nothing flashy but a good down hill runner. I would rather have Scott.

I don't know who's all staying or leaving yet, so I'm just going by who I think would go higher.
