Les could lose 6 games this year and not be fired. I guarantee it. His NC bought him at least 2 more years after last year.

That all depends on how bad we looked in the 6 loses. I guarantee, he COULD be canned if the team looks unorganized and the defense plays that bad again.

There's no way the well heeled powers that be/alumni and fans are going to let this program slip into mediocrity again. A six loss season might well do it. (I don't think there's anyway we could lose 6 games though) Too much talent on both sides of the ball.........

Yeah, b/c losing to UGA on the road, defending national champs UF with TEbow, and losing one to AUB/MSU/or Vandy is out of the realm of possibility.

See, this is what I'm saying.
Auburn is going to be a tough game. We could easily lose 2 out of AU/FL/GA. Then we still have AL, OM, and an improved ARK to deal with.

Please take off the P and G glasses and admit this is the hardest schedule in the country. 9 - 3 would be an outstanding year.

Oh and to the point of the thread- I think you would definitely see more RS at QB in the last games.

The assumption would be that the defense was AVG and the QB play was HORRIBLE. (See LSU 2002)

Maybe in another year, but given the defensive problems we had last year, I think people would be more eager to point the finger at the D than the QBs.

Man, if I sat around and played those kind of what-if scenarios I'd be ready to open a vein by Sept. 5. Get positive at least a little bit. OK maybe it's 10-2 this year, worst case 9-3 but we don't need the negative vibes going on before we even board the plane to Seattle. Even the much-despised Gary Danielson says we're playing Florida for the BCS. Smile, dude. You're part of the most passionate, hell-raising fan base in the country.

Man, you really are positive. Worst case is 9-3!

I'm actually thinking 10-2 is fricking phenomenal this year, with 9-3 being a fantastic year.

Worst case? I could definitely see 7-5 for worse case scenario.

I'm pretty pissed this staff let Sentimore get away FWIW. I was mad about Lacy at first but supposedly he's got tons of baggage.

You would see a lot more RS, a lot more running plays (many by RS himself), not much passing.

Letting Lacy go was fine b/c of the "baggage", but if we had room for him, we should've snagged him just to cockblock another team from having a solid RB. Plus, we lose 2 RBs next year.

Losing Sentimore is inexplicable. People can say what they want, but we should've gotten him. Can't let too many home grown kids go out, it opens up a pipeline for other schools.
