He will never openly admit it but deep down he wishes he’d never left for the dolphins job.
He could have at least 3 more national titles at LSU had he stayed. He probably would still be coaching. Don’t get me wrong, Alabama has resources and commitment but boy there’s nothing like that Louisiana pipeline.
Of course he speaks highly of Garrett. His dad Doug was Sabans OC for a year. He wanted Garrett to transfer to Bama last season.
I know it’s a fantasy but imagine the Bama melt if Saban went back to LSU as President of FB ops or AD.
