Nope, he would have gone. He had won the national championship and wanted to go to the pros before the water got cold.

Saban was a flop when he was at Miami, and he had total control. So why would you want to give him total control of LSU.

Only time will tell if he can win without Shula's players and the fertile recruiting grounds of LA.

He flopped in Miami, he can flop again.

No. I don't think he is the best coach in college football.Dictator yes.He was about to loose his team the last year he was here.This year was perfect for bama to win because it was a down year in the sec.People refuse to see it but Shula did a pretty good job recruiting.Win a championship with Duke then i'll say he is a great coach.Good yes great no.
