LSU probably doesn't win it in '09, we were 9-4 but we probably sign T Richardson and other few others. Probably have a shot in '10. We only lost to Auburn by 7 and slept walked against Arkansas. With those few recruits going to LSU instead of Bama and we win both in '10.

I would have given up LSU not winning a national championship for the next 15 years in order for the Saints to win the superbowl! I waited 37 years for LSU to win a NC in my life time and 44 years for the Saints to win a superbowl. My yongest son was born in 2003 and already has 2 LSU NC and one Saints superbowl! Let the world end tomorrow! My football dreams have been great!

Saban said his first choice was Brees.

I was under the impression, at the time, that the foremost reason Saban agreed to go to Miami was because he'd have a Parcellsesque total control of the team. Him now blaming the Miami doctors for the Culpepper choice does not smell right.

I think y'all aren't seeing what I'm saying here. Nick Saban stays in Miami, LSU probably gets a few more better recruits - talking bama quality recruits here. B/c Miles has been able to keep everyone out of Louisiana except Coach Saban.

So the question is what makes the most importance to you? Drew Brees and a super bowl, or a heisman type running back and a couple more national championships?
