RV Generator Exhaust Extension Question

I'm bringing an RV to campus for the first time and will be parking in the Vet Med lot 407. I know I have to have an extension for the generator exhaust, but I want to know if those of you who bring your RVs buy an extension or build your own. I would like to do this the cheapest way possible.
Thanks in advance for advice!

I may be wrong but I think I have heard of them not allowing homemade ones.

If you want to build it, I suggest posting on the outdoor board.

Thanks for the link! That's the one I was looking at and maybe what I end up getting. Glad to know that a lot of the RVs use it.

We brought our RV for the first time last weekend. Bought the same extension from a local RV dealer as posted in the link above. Simple hook up and easy to use.

This link is probably the exhaust used by 99% of the RV
Only suggestion is to hook it up at home before trying it for the first time when you get in campus. You may need a small extension to fit the RV exhaust pipe

Galvanized fence post. Used on a few times during storms, them bought a standby. Works well
