It's not impressive when he downs multiple punts inside the five yard line? It's not impressive when he returns two picks for touchdowns in his only two starts? It's not impressive that he's sixth on the team in TFL (not even including sacks) despite playing DB and playing less than half as many snaps as anyone else on the list? Damn, tough crowd...

Binky, brooks can't return kickoffs, yet he was our #2 guy behind mo Claiborne a first round draft pick. He had some decent returns over his career, but never was our go to kr ever. And the guys been behind Peterson also. I do agree he is suspect in man coverage, but this kid is a player and will be on an nfl roster. I can look at any nfl roster and pick out starting cbs that are suspect in man or suspect in zone or not the best tackler. Yeah the guy is going to have to put work in, but all the great ones do.

The way our scheme was set up, he wasn't really ever supposed to return kickoffs. He was just supposed to knock the snot out of the first guy that got by/through the wedge, and he was damn good at it.

He is not great at any one thing in particular. He is however extremely good at a few things and NFL GM's eat that up all day.

If he runs in the 4.4 range he will not get past the 4th round. Be is too athletic for a team to not take a chance in him.
