Shouldah! Wouldah! Couldah! Will not get it done they are called excuses and excuses does not make a loss a win. LSU is 8-1 today and that is all that matters/counts and there is nothing outside of a scandle that will change and unless before the season is over, but don't hold your breath, maybe IF Auburn has Newton ineligable then maybe that will change it.
All this negative talk by the media tells me is they really want Boise St and TCU to play in the BCS CG. They do not like it because LSU beat Bama and showed them that LSU really is the best team in the Conference. Auburn will win it all if they win out but, BUT! I ask......

who gives a shite what he thinks? #5 and #6 are not going to magically disappear, and the computer rankings are not going to magically change because of what some dumb arse thinks.
Everyone picked lsu to lose yesterday, and they are just trying to save face. I guarantee you 2 things
1. Nobody wants to play lsu right now.
2. if someone does beat lsu, it will automatically be a "quality" win.

What made Smith's comments even worse...is that he admitted that if it were Alabama as the SEC team with one loss they should play in the BCS championship game.

come on man, you know how many games are won and lost because of a penalty or turnover.
you could argue that we would have been unlucky to lose.
I don't see how 13 players on the field is lucky. Les did not put 13 players on the field. If miles would have done that he would have been roasted.

oh, we outgained them 2 to 1 and they had 4 turnovers. If they excecuted better, they would have won. A team that is -4 in turnover margin has no buisness losing a game
