i was disappointed. he ran hard , but i didn't see the elusiveness
he displayed in other games. i didn't see the crisp cuts.
williams looked much better.
Posts like this critical of Ridley are as dumb as posts declaring he's clearly the best RB we have after his 1 drive against Tulane's 2nd string.
Ridley is a very good RB. And, I think there is a very good shot he'll be our #1 next year. He has great burst and it shows everytime he is out there...even against La Tech.

Does anyone here know the difference between strategy and results?
The strategy of running the ball was seemingly adjusted for, so the offense came out with something different.
What if Lee had gone 6 of 6 on those passes for 92 yards or something ridiculous like that? Is it a poor strategy then?
What is Scott had played more against Kentucky and ran 6 times for 9 yards?
It's really not that complicated. Don't confuse poor results for poor strategy. Hindsight says we should have done something different, that doesn't mean it would have worked.

so if it isn't broke but Hester isn't getting the limelight we still need to fix it?

its easy to play monday morning QB. Its hard as hell to decide between a guy getting 10 yards a carry or a limping Hester who can't get 4 yards in the heat of battle.

But....but....Kentucky revised their gameplan and their safety had shut down the run.

You have to at least give a running back a chance to get in a rhythm before judging his performance. Miles has never allowed this.
haha this is the rant in a nutshell...this guy is mad that miles doesnt allow one back to get the majority of carries in order to get into a rhythm...while the guy directly above him is bitching that miles doesnt rotate backs and just picks one and sticks with them...
