I wasn't at the game but I thought the bells tolling thing was pretty cool...especially when that fog started rolling in late in the game. Of course if I'd been there, it probably would have driven me crazy too.

My brother and I nicknamed them the "Bells of Doom"...said in a totally sarcastic manner of course. It was so annoying! But not nearly as annoying as their first down cheer. I appreciated their fan support...they were very loud and very much into every play, until Claiborne ran back the kickoff. The trip as a whole was so much fun! It's the only place I've been where the opposing team's fans shook our hands and thanked us for coming as we were leaving the stadium.

We ran into some WVU fans at a downtown bar who then invited us to tailgate with them. It was by far my best road game experience.

Their hells bells aint got nothin on that opie taylor lookin dude at Alerbammer games on the jumbotron who screams out "we gonna make dis da loudest stadium in the kuntrie"..... "yeah yeah yeah yeah!!"

flew up for the game and stayed with some friends who go to wvu. said it was one of the best games they'd been to.

I take it you weren't in Tuscaloosa to witness the grating spectacle of the strength coach yelling "Yeah yeah yeah!" every five minutes on the jumbotron. Pathetic, Bama. You're better than that.
