Its not like the list is long and storied. He had his moments but should have gotten more out of the talent he brought here.

No kidding. This board hates Saban even though Saban built the house for 'ol no chester to win. And Saban made the mad quitter quit in the end

Kinda like what Jimmy Johnson did for Switzer at Dallas.

People need to get over the butthurt about Saban.

We are a top program all time. So, yea it kind of is.

As should have Saban. And this will sure be able to be said about O if he isn't in contention every year for the rest of his time here.

Bottom line is you hate the guy and you're completely irrational about his accomplishments here because of it.

Seems like you should take your own advice regarding Les.

I already did months ago. How many decades do you plan on keeping your Les hate going?

No
But I remember O indicating that when Chase was committed to Florida he told his dad that he would be a Tiger but he just doesn't know it yet

I hated his hiring....sorry 28-21 at OSU wasn't that impressive. Wasn't sure he was SEC ready.
I'm grateful for the 2007 NC...albeit that one was kinda was weird with 2 losses.

114 wins in the heyday of the SEC West is impressive though.

And he absolutely clowned you with his results.

How long do you plan on living?

By the way, why is the railing for O "criticism" and any negative mention of Miles considered "hate?"

Always wondered about that.

You cats might want to prepare yourselves - Stingley will be taking some offensive snaps in 2020.

I've never diminished anything O has actually accomplished here. You on the other hand try to discredit anything Miles did, including one of LSU's 3 national championships.

You very clearly are biased against him, I was just skeptical that O could actually get the job done. There is a monumental difference.

Yea he clowned us alright....into extentions he didnt deserve, inexplicable game decisions, and a tenure that was waaaayyyyy too long.

Color me clowned.

this doesn't mean the hiring at that time was prudent.

Les coached LSU to 4 Top 5 finishes and 5 other Top 20 finishes. He won more games in his first 5 years than any coach not named Bernie Moore or Charles McClendon did for an entire career.

Paul Dietzel and Nick Saban had a combined record of 94-40-3 at LSU. Les Miles was 114-34.

But, you baws keep that hate burning. It will keep you warm over this long winter we have ahead of us.

If the dude is willing to risk it...I'm down!

I wouldn't ask him to go both ways but I'm not getting paid millions to make those decisions.

You could just admit you were wrong, but that would require not to be blinded by hate. 15 years later and you still can't get over it. Pathetic.

You and LUNCH need to get together and compare notes for shitz and giggles.

"But...but...but it was def time for Miles to go!!!"

Give me a fricking break.

Well, you're absolutely correct that we shouldn't have fired Nick Saban to hire Les Miles. I agree with you on that point.
