Come and leave your sorrows in this thread so that you may watch the tigers with clears eyes tonight. I’ll start the ranting off properly because I’m hungover.
Jared Jones could not look more uninterested at the plate. I’ve never seen a supposed high level guy like himself have a freshman get intentionally walked in front of him so that a pitcher who can only throw the ball 50 miles per hour could strike him out in 3 pitches before he lethargically shuffles himself back to the dugout. I can only imagine the dry, passionless, missionary sex that he plies the chubby girls around campus with.
Every time Michael Braswell steps into the batters box it’s like he is surprised to see the pitcher throw a ball his way. The fact that he is allowed to swing away and kill any chance of momentum we have just boggles the mind. He is lucky that Reaves can’t play a lick of defense. Perhaps Jay can have Braswell abducted at some point today and replace him with Tommy White in blackface prior to the game and see if he can get away with it.
I don’t care what all of the advanced stats say about Little Rock’s pitching, the fact of the matter is that they suck. Their record sucks. Their conference sucks. Their mascot sucks. In no universe should LSU struggle to put them away at home with so much on the line so Jay better change something up tonight because if he doesn’t, we will watch about 20 pop ups happen and we will lose the easiest draw of the tournament because of it.
Oh, and I don’t want to see Shores or Mayer pitch another meaningful inning again should we advance. What good is it to the throw the ball 100 miles per hour if you are going to load the bases every time you pitch? They can join Jared Jones in sales after the season if they can’t learn to throw the ball better against the worst competition we have seen this season.
