quote:Yeah, a team loses momentum when they see no matter what they do the refs are going to take it from them. The hawgs were right there with you until the 4th.
FYI we beat Arkansas by 22 points.
Arkansas 7 14 14 8 43
Auburn 7 20 10 28 65

Because officiating can be so subjective with certain calls (holding, pass interference) it is very, very difficult to hold some of these clowns accountable. These guys are human and make mistakes and most fans understand this.
However...teams are screwed over in the state of Bama far more than chance would allow.
The most ridiculous calls, however, are the botched reviews that seem to favor certain teams. These replay officials are treated as "untouchable" and the SEC's system of correction and holding officials accountable is a joke.
If everything was truly on the up and up, Slive and SEC office should make an effort to remove the bias...such as having replay booth officials from other conferences or parts of the country.
We don't need someone in an SEC stadium to make a replay call. It can be done from anywhere in the country.
Anybody who thinks officials can't be bought off or coerced probably think recruits don't get $$$ and family members bought off.
I fear the officials FAR more than AU.
