Those will be best 2 defenses he will face all year. I mean 2 apiece along with 2 touchdowns is not unreasonable.
Those 2 teams will pressure him, hit him, attack him. You know full well Saban will bring the blitz heavy against JJ.

Not if you watched the GTech game or the Spring game. Crowton is a pass first guy.

We only had 163 yards in the Peach Bowl. That is hardly a "pass-happy" explosion. Turnovers and defense setup the scores in that game.

17-of-27 for 163 and two TDs were all JJ had that game.

no, it's really not unreasonable.

but taking care of the football will be a strong point of JJ's game.

georgia tech brought a TON of blitzing...

didn't work out that well...

and they had defenders right in his face, and yet here he is throwing darts, or running around them...

well we passed quite alot and the yards are so small because we like were starting at the GT 20 yard line. And he only threw one TD btw. but its hard to throw more when ur ground running unit rushes for 4.

And getting sacked, and fumbling... don't forget that.
But GT defense is no where as good as what Bama and Florida will bring next year. Both will be Top 10 nationally and both feature top notch players across the board.

Jefferson had 2, 1 that did not count and 1 that did but he recovered right?

hmmm, I think you're right.

here's an honest question:

who do you trust more regarding turnovers?

lee or jefferson?

Honest answer neither....

I mean JJ I believe throws less INT than LEE

but JJ fumbles and takes more sacks because he believes he can do it with his feet.

In reality I think if you put them side by side they would be pretty even in turnover differential and probably even (with edge to JJ cause of rushing) in touchdowns.

2075 passing
550 rushing
15 passing TDs/4 rushing (19 total)
11 INTs

What do we get if we win?

I would think if Lee started and played next year

17 interceptions
4 fumbles

or 21 turn overs

I said
13 and 8 for JJ so I think they would be even

Why are you all setting the bar so high? The numbers youre posting are better than any qb in seven years.

dude, I don't think lee would do THAT bad this year...

holy shite... 17 fricking INT's?

I just can't see Jefferson having more than 10 INT's this season... he is selective of his passes, doesn't throw off his back foot, and looks off safeties and corners.

Yeah I could see Lee with 25 Touchdowns around 17 INTS.

18 and 13 for JJ would be great, I mean like I said I am basing this on the pressure he will see and teams have some film of him now that defensive coordinators can break down.

If I am wrong then I am perfectly content with it cause that means LSU probably has better record than 10-3

you know the most TD's ever thrown in a season is only 3 more than that right?

I think if he would start 12/14 games in a single season he could break the 28. Especially if he throws that many INTS because it means LSU is behind in some games. Thus in effect throwin the ball more and we all know if Lee gets hot he can sling it wih best of them.

2 touchdowns a game would be a pretty could guess for Lee

Most people seem to be happy with a 55-58% completion percentage.. and between 15-18 TDs in the air, 4ish TD on the ground..

That's right at what we should expect, imo. He'll throw alot of short passes on 1st down by hitting crossing routes while he's rolling out to the right.

The thread suggested stats within reason... and Ive seen passing numbers averaged out to almost 2800 yards... that's pretty wishful.
