I don't give a shite who is hurt/who won't play. If you have 5 guys - you should accept the bid and play. Maybe you get blown out - but you always compete.

Turning down the bid is a big-time loser move. Who the hell do you think you are?

They didn't turn down any bid. They were never gonna get one.

I actually prefer that to turning one down.

sad to think we were on the up and up

that's right. but, the team caved.

give JJ another chance. where team personalities are involved, it's not always the coaches fault. back in the day, players had to be students and they had to listen to the coach. now, the one year wonders do what they want and can tell the coach to frick off. it's a terrible situation. call it what it is; the minor leagues.

Do you think they consider not playing so AB doesn't improve his draft stock, and would be easier to recruit to come back . Trying to think like JOhnny Jones and why he would decline the NIT.

Think of the embarrassment if Ball St beat us at home by 20 in basketball right after they whooped us in baseball??? The decision was made to save us from further embarrassment

He wasn't going to play in the NIT either, citing sickness according to NOLA.com
