we dropped big gainers too. Vandy was a bowl winner last season and returns a core of sec talented players. You NEVER want to play Vandy early because they do have fresh legs. It is only late that they lose steam and the depth issues are more apparent. Look in the last five years Vandy plays everyone tough early. In the last two years they have been blown out only 3 times. 2 to Fla one to Auburn 35-7. The next widest margin was last night!!!!

WHY??? Cause I don't think LSU is the best team in the country????. BTW I am a BIGTIME LSU fan. Just state what I see. If you can't take that then you are a bad example of a fan.

The diff between the way the D played in the second game wasnt perfect by any streatch, but it WAS obvious.

All I hear from some of you is doom and gloom insted of focusing on the way this team has progressed thus far. Maybe they havent met your expectations, thats fine. ITS ONLY THE SECOND DAMN GAME OF THE YEAR.

In Miles first year we barely beat a 6-5 Arizona ST team the first game, lost to a horrible 5-6 Tenn team the following week.............and ended up in the SECCG on our way to a 11-2 record.

1. Does your profession have anything to do with sports? NOPE
2. Did you play college sports? NOPE
3. Did you graduate from LSU? NOPE
4. Have you ever coached sports at any level above pee-wee? NOPE
-----------------------------------
I guess being a fan you have to have a check by all of the above but let me guess you have a check by all of these. So what position did you play at LSU? So last year didn't happen i guess? because i didn't make the check list. Ever hear of a thing called history and if you don't do something about it you are destined to repeat it.Trust me my friend this team is looking very similar to last year minus the pick 6's

We'll bad news we looked just as bad from the first game to the second game.

Not true. The offense looked about the same. But the D only gave up seven points to a dual threat qb and a pretty good duo of running backs. Not to mention our offense had several consecutive three and outs in the second half forcing our defense to be on the field for extended periods of time. If our offense could have picked up the slack, not only would we have scored more points but our defense would have looked better. I am confident that our defense will grow and get better every week, but I am worried about our offense. We have some of the best receivers in the nation, and we must learn to utilize them. 5 yard out routes isn't going to cut it against the elites of the SEC. Oh and by the way, start Keiland Williams.

Lest just say that my answers are not the same as your answers...but that is irrelevant to the point I am making. I am not saying you cant be an LSU fan, I am simply saying "How do you expect anyone to take you seriously when you predict the outcome of LSU's season?" I was simply trying to see if you had some past experiences that were guiding your thoughts or if you were just talking out of your arse. Thanks for clarification!

Go back and watch how many big plays Vandy missed on where the receiver dropped the ball without a defensive back even covering them

THIS

It was a pretty good break, the people around us in the stands all said the same thing at the same time. "Good thing he dropped it, cause that would have been a TD". Even the lady that kept calling the players out by numbers and asking if we were going on offense or defense said it. Yes, the D looked a little better. I think they discovered a new play last night, 4th and Chavis, Vandy was 50% on that one. JK The game really reminded me of the Moo St. game last year, it was just Blah. Face it though, this isn't a 10-2 team with the teams we have left to play.

I thought being from Jax like me youd have better sense. The REALITY is we are 2-0. Id dont wanna hear "If Vandy didnt drop all of those passes blah blah blah. Am I happy with the Oline and Dline play no I am not but we are 2-0.

So stay on the train or get off like all the rest of the negatiger posers

You do realize that minus the pick 6's LSU wins the SEC west last year...right? We beat Alabama, probably Georgia and on and on.

The defense was terrible but the offense, minus the picks, was very good. The defense spent alot of time back on their heels.

Did you even watch the Bama game last year? They won because of a pick. Not because of our defense.

Still laughing over PJ's comment and the link on UGA-Vandy. PJ failed to comment on why Vandy beat Ole Miss and UGA, yet only mustered 210 yards of total offense against LSU.

PJ is a Bama fan. He's always going to say things to piss off LSU fans. And he's a Nick Saban fan,
and will always think Bama going to win more than Miles.

Way to go, PJ. You've done it again.

Look, I am concerned that the defense does not look especially physical at this point. But it was a freakin' monsoon last night!!!! They won. Did you watch the Okie State game? The Colorado game? This is Division 1 football brother. Stuff happens. We may not win every game, but cheese and crackers people Bama was losing to Florida freakin' International with less than 3 minutes to go in the first half!

Kings of prophecy.

You sound like you are aiming for some kind of bragging rights. If LSU falters im sure you will be elated seeing as how hard you guys are fighting to prove to everyone how much they suck after winning 2 games while showing improvement.

If you end up being wrong, im sure you'll be the first to claim how glad you were...........after all youre a tiger fan through and through. No harm no foul right?

I think Drake Nevis needs more time, as well as Josh Downs. Charles Alexander, bless the man, but I think he's be better coming off the bench. The DL is about the only real concern IMO.
