I don't think anyone who has taken torts doesn't know the definitions of assault and battery.

What injuries did the victim get while being on the ground in the fetal position and being kicked?

I didn't reference him at all, you just did.

Read the subject of this thread.

ETA - Learn what the fetal position really is because from what you've said so far, you have no idea what it means.

And you still don't answer my question about who "him" is.

him is whomever did the kicking.

Currently JJ is being investigated as the "alleged" kicker.

No, I'm not.

What is it you are looking for?

I've taken torts and litigated them for many, many years. I'm just saying that people's confusion of assault and battery is similar to people's confusion of libel and slander -- even lawyers who have dealt with it for a long time sometimes have to stop and think before using the wrong word. Just sayin

because in a lot of your posts you make inaccurate statements with your definitions yet you go on to chastize someone like justme with some 1L insult. Lawyers do make mistakes just not the type I've seen you make with confusing simple words and applying the same definition to both

maybe the definitions are just ingrained in my head since I'm not so old

But, its safe to say Capt isn't either an attorney or law student.

I'm not an attorney, JustMe claims to be one and was a former judge.

I would expect a man of the cloth to have abetter command of definitional terms than a lay person, such as myself.

As such I can only conclude his improper use of third party in the OP was intentional and misleading.

Now you see all the people who don't care who's guilty, they just want JJ or LSU punished. It tells a lot about them.

Can you point out the Gumps and Trolls in this thread?

when did I claim he was guilty?

As I have ALWAYS SAID.

I want him to be punished, IF he committed the act. That's why the polcie are investigating, to determine these things.
