I don't see how Weiss belongs in the conversation until he actually does something at the collegiate level. Sure, he took ND to a BCS game but no one in their right mind believes they belonged there.

Where do you think he’ll be going?

Personally, I think he wants to be a HC in the college game again. But he's got to right his reputation.

The ND hiring was a disaster in many ways.

He was on his way out in KC, Florida didn't "hire him away." But that probably was more personal issues than professional.

He's a good OC. I wouldn't put him above Kelly, Holgorsen or Malzahn, personally.

I'd imagine. You can increase your salary big time by getting a HC job.

He had some success in the NFL as an OC. I think he'd have an easier time dissecting defenses in college and he should have better athletes across the board to work with at UF on offense than he did at ND. QB is the big issue right now for them it seems.

How is college vs. pro level germain? 3 Super Bowl victories speak for themselves. How many championships does Kelly have at any level?

UF should have a good offense under Weis, if he can find some solid QB play. They should have good athletes everywhere else. But UF fans are a hard bunch to please and might not be happy if they aren't as potent on offense as they were from 2007-2009.
