Mike was a dear friend of mine. We had long conversations for hours on the phone about everything and nothing. He talked about a difficult upbringing and I do remember talks about you, although I don't remember many specifics about what he said about you. But I remember he loved and missed you. and he felt very protective about you. I miss him still. Before i moved out of state, I tried to get to his grave in Walker at least once a year. I was not from Walker, so I didnt know Randy Durbin, but I was told he lost his scholership He was also convicted of manslaughter, but got a suspended sentence. His real name was David Randall Durbin. I was told that he was sprayed in the face with mace by someone else, and thought mike did it, and that mike was there watching a fight. From my understanding Mike did nothing wrong that night other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Seeing your post just now made my heart smile. He was the best!

*tiger vision* I was also friends with Mike, although I was not from Walker. Do you remember him visiting his plaquemine friends? Have we met ? Just curious. :)
