Arkansas is doing a re seating again at Baum Walker for the second time in less than 5 years. I'm curious how our entry point dollar wise compares to lsu. Obviously the standard for college baseball winning is in baton rouge. While I am all for doing everything we can to try and get that elusive title for my hogs I am afraid that this will just price out the core fan base. So I'm just curious how do these new figures compare.

I'm in the super hog level and have never been able to get baseball tickets. They just go that fast. Biggest problem has been people who have had them for years and were grandfathered in and were donating $1000 or less and got to keep them, which I understand. This new plan reduces the number of available tickets to any donor level while increasing the minimums as well.

I’ve been trying to get baseball season tickets at LSU for years and never get close to sniffing them. Damn near everyone under the grandstand was grandfathered in as well, from what I understand. Might be a little off there but for the most part that’s the case.

As you can imagine the demand is incredibly high and I usually end up overpaying by a lot to go to one game a year until regionals come around and my status usually scores me the coveted standing room only tickets .

Edit to add: you may see me on here shite talking Arkansas baseball a lot but the truth is I respect DVH and I actually do pull for yall when it doesn’t hurt LSU. I’d love to see yall win a title for him. In a year that LSU is already out of it, of course.

All the lsu fans who have had season tickets weren’t exempt from paying taf fees once that was implemented

If you didn’t want to pay those fees you lost your seats

The only thing lsu did was allow you to move your seats when the new stadium opened in 2009, they gave you different options that were available when it came your time to relocate

I've had seats in the new box since... Maybe not the first year it opened but probably a couple years in. Had been on a waitlist for years while I was still in college and did the TAF student thing where if you give them $100 it counted like you gave them $1000. That was apparently enough to get me a shot right around the time I graduated.

My tickets are down the line in the outfield. They're cheap enough that I don't have a mandatory TAF fee every year. I want to say they were in the ballpark of $600/3 a few years ago but have bumped to $900+ now.

I think if you get a chance grab any seats you can get even if not as many as you want, then try to relocate or expand every year till you get to be around where you want. You'll have a better shot that way than holding out till your desired area opens up.

It's just insane to me how much money is being poured into college athletic. getting my family of 6 to a SEC weekend series use to be something I could do for less than a grand all in, hotel food and all. I couldn't get tickets alone to a Saturday night game for my 6 for less than a grand.
