Lee and Jefferson were good QBs in 2011. They were arguably better than any other starting SEC QBs in 2011.

In 2011 SEC regular season games, Jefferson and Lee had higher QB ratings than any other starting SEC QB. They were also the top two in the SEC for YPA. They were #2 and #3 in the SEC for Comp%.

Lee was selected to play in two All-Star bowls, and he played with the San Diego Chargers through the 2012 preseason. Last year, Lee signed with the British Columbia Lions but was released a couple of months later.

Jefferson was selected to attend the NFL combine where he performed exceptionally well. Although Jefferson had the lowest grade prior to the 2012 NFL Combine, Jefferson was the only QB to finish among the top five QBs in each event. Among the quarterbacks, Jefferson finished first in the 20 yard shuttle, tied for first in the bench press, and finished third in the 40 yard dash and the vertical jump. Tampa Bay signed Jefferson to a contract, but he was waived four days later so that Tampa Bay could have a replacement for Da'Quan Bowers, a projected starter who suffered a probable season-ending injury. Jefferson remained a professional QB as of last year.
