I dream of the day when an LSU basketball team can consistently shoot the ball from the outside, and I'm not just talking about three point shorts.

Scoring droughts, not finishing on dribble drives, and no intermediate shots are main problems the team experiences every year.

I know we have big men coming in next year, but do we have any SHOOTERS coming in?

And man, since Sampson's early season injury, he has been a non-factor.

Are you seriously complaining about next year haul? We will dominate next year.

Where did I argue to the contrary? I just hate extrapolating one game to an entire season... Just like the people early in the year who posted multiple threads about poor shooting when we were literally leading the NCAA in FG%

Not complaining. Just speculating. Everyone knows about the bigs we recruited. And Javon Smart is a shooter, and paired with Waters, we might wind up with two consistent shooters.

Yeah, it really sucks for him. He was primed to have a nice junior season and bounce to the pros. Playing like this, though, I don’t really see many minutes for him on next year’s squad. He’s in a bad spot, and I hate it for him.

He'll still get minutes... Just likely off the bench. We're gonna have a pretty deep rotation next year, which will be a first for LSU in a long time.
