As soon as we get the old Alex Box's smells:

* Hot dogs, popcorn, burgers, ribs, jambalaya, pretzels, red beans, onion rings, fries, cotton candy, roast beef po-boys, etc in the concessions area,

* Dirt/clay, grass, leather gloves, resin bags, etc along the bullpen/warm-up areas,

* And of course the faint smell of popping bubble gum, bourbon, cigars, lucky baseball caps, sweaty baseball shirts, stale beer, leather binocular cases and radio headphones in the stands,

MINUS the manure smell !!!
Plus the trains...
Plus fingers in the air for tickets...

Then it will be the Box again.

The one thing the Alex Box stadium has over all college baseball parks is the most covered seating. In the South, that is very important.

One of the pluses for Baum Stadium for many people are the suites runnning from foul pole to foul pole. I look at that as somewhat of a negative. If they had planned correctly, they should have double decked the suites and kept them near the infield. Those suites in the outfield are equivalent to the endzone suites many football stadiums are building nowadays. Great amenities but shitty location.
