Get serious
Why are you so angry about a list of potential candidates?

So you think Stoops is just sitting around his new palatial estate outside o Norman just waiting for a perfect opportunity to deal with elite specialized talent.
Perhaps you should read up on why he walked away at Oklahoma.
You know he coached after Oklahoma right?

I think when LSU is good at defense we will always have a chance. We have athletes at all levels.
I think it's easier to get a offensive coordinator that can coach the QB and spread the ball around and when one goes pro or moves to a head coach position or nfl it's a little easier to replace.
Defense on the other hand going through coordinators I'm not a fan of. The schemes and techniques a defensive coach teaches I believe is a little harder to learn and if defen6 is locked in and consistent then we can better weather a storm of OC change outs then vice versa. When a offense is slinging the ball around and defense is gassed and unsure of playcalling the other team scores. And offense has to score to bail em out.
If I have to pick a side harder to learn id pick defense, so I would rather that side of ball be locked down and set the tempo of the game.
Just the way I see it.

That's fair enough. It's very rare here to ask someone a question and get a well thought out response. Usually it's just people throwing stuff at the walls and hoping other people buy into what they are saying.

Pending end of season results, Mel Tucker should be considered as a dark horse for the job. He brings the physicality that has been lost over the years which used to be our identity.
