Notre Dame in the past not playing freshman wasn’t a ND admin problem. It’s a Brian Kelly problem.

I completely agree.
Playing freshmen would be welcome. That said fricking bozos like Major Burns are "team leaders" so you could play freshmen but still struggle because the veteran guys who will not be removed are so garbage.

People can argue against it all they want, but Brian Kelly specifically said last week that Speights was playing because of his experience. Then Weeks got no snaps against Bama.
