PM needs to not show up for the game, or get himself thrown out in the 1st inning and see if the guys play better. If they do, there's your answer.

Jesus Condon is so dumb. If he'd ever played a sport, he'd know that getting yelled at when you frick up is just part of it. If you can't deal with it, then you shouldn't be playing. I can guarantee that players getting yelled at too much is not the problem. What a joke.

Okay, so some chick calls Jordy's show and says this and Condon takes it and runs with it? And we are taking this as gospel? I guarantee you that Mainieri will sit any players that he sees have given up. It's a slump. Players' confidence is down and it may appear as giving up, but it's just lack of confidence.

I heard from somewhere that the championship team did it without help from Maneiri. Supposedly they hated him, pulled together and had a team meeting after the Illinois series, and the rest is history.

Condon keeps going on and on and on and on and on about how he has sworn to "protect his source". Methinks he doth protest too much.
I'll say this, though...if any part of this is true, the "offended" players could have NEVER played for Skip with a skin that thin. Skip was downright profane with his players. And I've heard that from enough FIRST-HAND sources to know that it's a fact.

Mainieri took our team to a National Championship last year.
If true, which is unlikely, send them packing and start over. I'd cut every player on the roster before blaming Mainieri.
