Disagree. Teams practice scramble plays. And Dural easily had beaten the coverage. It was a very heads up play by a Soph. QB and WR.
Jennings also showed very good touch on the ball and a strong arm on the move.

It was over double coverage. If you're so fricking smart why aren't you a DC somewhere? I mean hell there are 10 teams each of the last few years that would love to have stopped our shitty play calling. Are you upset it worked? Are you upset we passed a ton last year (proving that Les lets the OC call plays or that Les goes with his talent)? Are you upset that all we did was run in 2011 and were the first LSU team to go 12-0? Are you upset for all of the bitching you and a few others do that Les just wins more than anyone else in his time at LSU?
I mean what the frick is wrong with all these other coaches that can't win as many games as Les since 05 when he arrived? Obviously they could hire you and problem solved.
We played conservative because we have some unknowns. We got in a hole and the staff made adjustments and we won. It's a fricking shame that's not enough for some of you limp dicks.

Here is the entire 3rd Quarter. Show me the miraculous changes in coaching? We called 4 passes in the Quarter.
The only time we didn't run the ball on 1st and 2nd down we had a 44 yard pass to Dural. Besides that our Offense averaged 2-3 yards on the ground.

So 84 yards of offense is bad? 2 FG are bad? If you can't see the improvement from the first half to the second, I don't know what to tell you.

So assuming you are correct with your 84 yards, because I didn't check.
84-56(from 2 passes)=leaves you with 28 yards.
LSU ran 16 offensive plays in the quarter. 4 were passes.
So 16-4=12 run plays.
28/12= an average of 2.33 yards in the 3rd Quarter Rushing.
That's a damn strong run game and offensive line.. Great adjustments coach.

The announcers even said at the end of the 3rd that Grimes sat down with his offensive line to fix the problems.

Right. Wisky had won 12 straight openers. Lsu started a qb with 1 start ,lost our rb workhorse, and over 2000 yards of wr offense and people are wondering why we didn't light up a top 15 team.
