I will duck, but was listening to Finebaum. He had Lugenbill on and they were discussing games this week. Said only chance Auburn has is if they stuff the run and put the ball in Mett's hands.

He's right in the sense that we don't have a 6'4 guy that can separate like Randle, but we have guys that can get open and get down field. Jarvis Landry is so physical, he's going to get where he wants to go if he's got to bust your chin to get there.

Mett's best practice to date has probably been in practice

All he was saying is we don't have a great WR (ala Rueben, Lafell, etc) yet. He didn't say our WRs suck, just unproven.

c'mon Weaver, I didn't think you were one of "these" fans.

He's saying the only legit competition Mett has seen has been against the LSU D in practice.

Well no shite, considering he hasn't even played on the road yet.

Think his exact quote was "he has yet to attempt a pass on the road". So Lugenbill obviously knows his shite, considering he did get a few snaps @ Ole Miss last season.

Well, Mett hasn't been tested on the road. That's not an opinion, that's just a straight up fact.

As far as our WRs, nobody outside of OBJ has really seen any significant action besides maybe Shep and he aint exactly lighting it up.

I really think this team is going to shine on Saturday. Look at the one somewhat "test" they've had so far this year in Washington. Besides the 3 LSU handed them, they never even so much made it close enough to get another FG. The offense was really clicking last week and I look for it to take another jump.

Do you not realize UW had injuries out the arse and is not built to compete in the SEC.

Well it regards to that, it started slow plus the competition was Idaho.

AU has the talent but the coaches have yet to get them conditioned for the level of competition in the SEC.

Expect this until we beat BAMA. When Mett does well at Auburn it will be well he hasn't played a legitimate defense. Than after doing well against Florida/USCe it will be, the excuse will be theyre not elite teams. Mett will gain the respect he deserves but it won't be for a while

I say opposing defense haven't been tested by LSU's passing offense yet, home or away
