It is pretty standard for coaches on other teams to wait till after their bowl game to join their new team.
Do y'all really want new coaches to join two weeks before the bowl game? If they did and their unit(s) underperform in the bowl game, the bitch-fest on the Rant would reach unprecedented new heights.
