They have no shooters on the team and it is killing them. I would give Van another year or so. Hopefully he will step down, retire and then we can go after a young coach that has fire in the belly still.

Someone please ban this idiot.
As a previous poster pointed out, we have no (healthy) pure outside shooters (although Hightower has come on late in her career). Our lack of priority placed on outside shooting has allowed teams to play zone and collapse in the post. As more opponents have caught on, our production has declined.
For all intents and purposes, this is last year's team with another year of SEC play under their belts. Last year they started slow (as was expected with so many freshman) and gained momentum as the season went on. For whatever reason, that momentum didn't carry into this year. It is baffling to see them regressing as they have. It is up to the coaching staff to right the ship and rebuild confidence, because the players proved last year that the talent is there.
