It would take 2 years of less than 9 wins. That's it. You don't like it. Oh well. that's what it's going to take. All of your other talk is just fantasy.

Woodward is not firing a 10 win coach
Absolutely not
If we get stuck at 10-3 for several more years in a row I could see it
No way next year, but the seat would warm.

You clearly have not followed how Woodward runs an AD if you think 9 wins is going to keep 0 here

That's literally exactly what I posted. Congrats on inventing an argument with yourself to prove exactly what I posted.

He was going to be until your favorite AD shite the bed. And then was early in 2016... after what would have been a 10 win season in 2015, like I said.
What you're doing now is a weak attempt at a gotcha.

Benny, do you agreee or disagree with O's assessment of the OL prior to the 2018 season? If you disagree, what makes his preseason assessment different this year?
quote:
"I feel Garrett Brumfield is a tremendous leader on our offense," Orgeron said. "And I really feel like we're going to be strong on the offensive line."

"We had three freshmen that played last year," Orgeron said of Charles, Ingram and Deculus. "So, we're going to be stronger on the offensive line than we were last year, and we have more depth."

So your minimum expectation is greatness. Fine, you're on record that nothing less than 10 regular season wins is acceptable for this year. It will be pretty funny to see the excuses you make should we only win 9.

The decision was made long before seasons end and based on a perceived upgrade. Talks with Fisher didn't start when we lost to Alabama
It started when we finished 8-5 in 2014.
Here's you a good article. It's going to piss you off most likely

For all of Miles’s successes at LSU, his teams are just 13-9 in SEC play over the past three seasons. Plus, Rabalais writes, the fan base has seemingly grown tired of Miles’s conservative, run-heavy play-calling (a tactic that’s been abandoned by Alabama and even Arkansas, to a certain extent).

Pair that with habitual problems with penalties, delay of game issues, and this year’s special teams breakdowns, and it’s a recipe for dissatisfaction, on the verge of changing over to apathy,”

But in the span of just two Saturdays, with two humbling losses to Alabama and Arkansas, the ice has thinned under Miles’ feet to the point where strong indications are that he will be coaching for his very job at Ole Miss on Saturday and the week after that against Texas A&M.

My minimum expectation for next year is 10-2, which would be a top 10% in LSU history.

Ricky, I don't know what years you guys are arguing over (I can only stand to go back so far and read your "retard" posts), but expectations factor tremendously in what an AD would deem "acceptable".

if 3 and 4 losses gets you on the hotseat it also gets you fired.
if youre gonna jump in and out and run your mouth... know what youre talking about.
there were no exact seasons we were talking about.

History is irrelevant to the individual season.

I thought that the offensive line was going to be better last year. I was wrong.
Brumfield played hurt when he played. There were several players that played through injuries last year.
Charles and Deculus were pressed into service before they were ready and it showed.
Charles actually has the ability to play tackle now whether he'll play up to his potential is anybody's guess but as of right now he's improved tremendously.
I'm not sold on Deculus. His run blocking is good but so far he hasn't impressed with his pass blocking. He was the weak link on the right side of the line last season. Cush started but there were times that he was pushed into the backfield rather quickly. Cush is young and probably started before he was ready too.
Every one of these guys with another season under their belt should improve drastically. The only concern I have is Deculus. That being said there is quality depth behind him so one of Wire or Rosenthal should be able to step in and provide that depth if Deculus isn't able to hold his own.
I can't imagine anyone not thinking that this offensive line won't be better than last year's. To each his own I guess.

Says nothing about being 6-6 because of Orgeron.
he had just taken the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb and lost 4 games while playing the easiest schedule lsu had had this century.
the 6 wins expectations were definitely because of O.
