What a beastly performance that was. And yes, miserably hot in Tiger Stadium, but worth. You could see from the first play from scrimmage he was in a different gear altogether.
IIRC an Auburn defensive back had said something in the press the week leading up essentially saying they weren’t worried about Fournette. I don’t remember the exact words but it was enough to make Leonard angry, and it showed. Maybe that was a different game but that’s what my memory tells me.
