I want to say that espn will be doing the early games next year but I may be mistaken.

Damnit and I'm suppose to start working Saturday nights at The Advocate around that time damnit, prolly won't be able to go to the game, maybe the first couple of quarters ... MAYBE UGH!

When you are on network TV in the afternoon,it means your program is DOING WELL !! CBS won't televise you if you are not doing well. Howfreaking hard is it to understand that?
Be thankful for the 2:30 game and the tremendous exposure it gives the program and the university. Adjust your precious tailgate. Deal with the situation instead of whining. CBS and ESPN paid over $2 BILLION for the SEC broadcast rights for the next 15 years so if they say we play at 6am, we play at 6 am. Better get used to it because it isn't changing anytime soon.

You guys are amazing! I can't get an "Amen" to the idea that "PIC6 LEE" might not be the answer to LSU's quarterback problems, but you bitch to high heaven when CBS wants to show the entire USA how good SEC football can be!!
Hell, by the end of last season, I thought even Verne Lundquist was turning into an LSU fan!!

When I was a youngster it was a HUGE deal for LSU to be on TV. To hear Keith Jackson say my brother's name was like having Neil Armstrong give you a shout-out from the moon.
Now (like everything else) we expect the world on a plate. My wife couldn't understand why the Tulane game wasn't on CBS or ESPN.

The person that makes the decision to put the game on at 2:30 should have to sit on the eastside and stare at the sun for 2 hours.

Meh, not a big deal to me. Just a minor inconvenience. Just means I have to start drinking earlier.

Dude, that's an easy one. I saw Paul McCartney at the Toyota Center on a Saturday night and was back home in BR by 11:45 that next morning. You just have to get up kind of early and drive it on thru. It's definitely very doable.
