In your opinion, is Ware an elite SEC back? Also, what were your impressions of Terrance Magee?

Yea Ware is a beast. Not a lot of holes but he is so physical. You don't want to meet him in the hole.

Magee looks real good. I didn't realize how big he was. Very quick. I wouldn't be surprised if he is our number 2 option by the end of the year.

You need to watch some film if you think that's the only play he did that on. He did it inside the five 3 times last season alone. Face it, dude plays soft.

As long as he catches it across the middle I don't care how soft he plays near the side lines.

So, we have had two or three posts saying that Jefferson threw the pick-6. And we have had two or three posts saying it was Mettenberger. Can someone please clarify???

It was Mett. Jefferson threw one as well but I don't think it was a pick 6. Mett was hustling down even though they blew the whistle. Loston came flying as the blocker and Mett yelled "don't hit me!" They both started laughing.

Rueben got kicked in the balls and had to go to the sidelines for a good while. Wouldn't let the female trainers look at him. I thought that was kinda funny

D had Kanye West swag. Running around yelling and talking shite to the offense. Can't wait to see them unleashed.

Also expect to see a lot more man. Like I said before Simon will be picked on a lot. Great closing speed and so long but gets beat on the line every now and then. Small, quick guys could be tough for him.

I think he's amazingly talented and gifted, and is a mismatch for any team on our schedule. But when you have the damn quarterback out front sacrificing his body to clear the way to the end zone, you don't step out of bounds at the 3 because you don't wanna take a hit.

Mett didn't want to get Zach Smith'd.

Also having Taylor back is huge. There was a few times he called out plays before the snap. Definitely the leader of the D. I hope he stays healthy. I wouldn't trade him, Reid, or Loston for any safety group in the country. All 3 are fast and physical.

JJ rolled right threw late and behind reciever who was open running an out pattern,Reid took it to the house after easily juking JJ. Mett didn't throw one, he just chased Loston who recovered Gore's fumble.

You must have left towards the end. Ran an out route and he lobbed it instead of firing it in there. Think Bryant made the pick.

There was no 6 involved in jj's pick. Lee was best qb of all that played today. Like it or not je may be our best option at qb. He looks good leading and it's the second team. I like jj but he is too ready to tuck and run.

I agree he looked the best but he still makes one or two throws that have you scratching your head. Such a quick release.

JJ is a douche for lowering his should after Reid let up. "No-contact Jersey" goes both ways. You can't hit OR be hit.

What are we talking about with Beckham specifically? What are his strengths?

I watched his highlight tape, and he seemed to be the smoothest athlete in the country. I just want to know what exactly is making everyone rave about Beckham.

Ball Skill are what made him stand out in high school, but apparently his route running has improved a lot this offseason. His highlight film is a little outdated, these were some of the better plays of his senior year as a WR.

Nothing in report surprised me...but glad to hear Shep looked better today.

Most important part of any scrimmage is serious injuries. Sounds like we avoided those today which is great news.

And beware...J Landry is about to start drawing "ooohs and ahhhs" starting next week.

Freak
L. Collins
Magee
Landry
Beckham
Rasco

All as good or better than advertised.
