Overly harsh. Like I said, we actually fielded a decent team last year overall.
Overly dismissive. Like I said, the last 2 years a dominant, focused LSU team neither suited up nor played. What we had were a bunch of great and talented guys who wanted to be the LSU football team, but were not given the chance to play like they were because of coaching incompetence, stubbornness, or you name it why. Instead they played in fits and starts, hot and cold, up and down and were not nearly the team they could have been. 2 years running. I am not interested in a "decent" team any more than I am interested in measuring the margin of LSU losses. Calling an LSU team a "decent" team sounds to me like it's condescending to them. I have gotten used to the standard of LSU fielding "great" teams and want that greatness back for them and for the Tiger Nation. If you're ok with only "decent" then that says something about your standards. Which is why you're probably ok with the last 2 seasons and I'm not.

Have you? How many of these "great" LSU teams are you referring to? Must have been at least a few for you to have gotten used to them. Please list the seasons you speak of.

Because I feel like you likely long for some mythical time that never really existed. In our last 10 years--the greatest 10 years in LSU football history, we have had all of ONE team finish with less than 2 losses. And all of FOUR--total--that have finished with less than 3. Seems like if you are calling a team "great" that lost 3+ games, then it is YOU who have lowered the standard and are "accepting mediocrity." Either that, or you are are just referring to our teams that finished with less than 3 losses as "great." And since 3/4 of those teams--75%--were Les Miles-coached teams, that makes your argument even more ridiculous.

Hot Carl congrats. for settling for average Lsu foot ball team. The last 2 years was a joke! Most of the team did not show up. If we loose to UNC in the first game, the season will be over soon.

9-3 in the regular season, 3rd in the SEC, which earns an invite to in the highest rated SEC bowl outside the BCS, and an overall nationally ranked team is now a "joke".

There are probably 6 seasons in the last 40 in which LSU ended the season being invited to a more highly thought of bowl game, but you see a regular season ending with an invite to the Capital One Bowl as a "joke".

I don't know what LSU team some of you guys have been fans of for the past few decades, but I wish I my LSU team had enjoyed the past success to the point that I could call 9-3 in the regular season which earned a Cap. One bowl invite a "joke".

Of course it could be that your post was little more than BS, but no....you wouldn't do that.

Happy.... but want him to fire Crowton.

Crowton is to Miles as Tepper was to DiNardo.

Not Happy but I think he can make me happy again. Not sure we need a new coach just one willing to adapt to new ideas.

No, but playing OOC cup cakes and still having the 112th offense in the country coupled by a team that looked lost at best in our most important games is a joke. If you want to hide your head in the sand, go ahead.

I have been a fan of or a student at LSU for the last 35 years. I know all of the good times bad times bullshite so many of you keep bringing up. However, when a team loses their focus or purpose on the field as this team has on both sides of the ball on numerous occasions the last two plus years, there is no reason at all not to examine it as a fan base.
