Yes Crowton and Miles should both take heat for not signing a sec caliber qb but again we are 10-2 this year with horrible qb play. If we had an sec qb then we would probably be undefeated. To say though that its all crowton's fault is just plain ignorance. do you not think RP helped put us in this situation as well?

Until Gary Crowton left.

No need fro the dramatic band wasting spacing. this isn't Oprah.

Great. Matt Flynn was not good until Crowton arrived.

Again you have to give Crowton the benefit of the doubt

Why?

He put more points up in 1 season, than any other OC in LSU history.

Really?

He had a higher YPA average, a higher TD/Int ratio, and a higher rating in 2005 than he did in 2007.

He had an identical completion %.

So he "sucked" prior to Crowton?

Playing out of a playbook not his own with players he never coached.

10-2 with the worst OC in college football. Period. End of Story.

See how it easy it is to make conclusion based on no argument?

Crowton took a QB who had completed 49 passes in 4 years, and won the National Championship.

Yea ok Chavis is the winner now huh? I dont think we were short on talent on defense. Wow just wow! And JJ would be a heisman winner under 100 other OCs. Unreal!

Bullsh*t. You fricktards come up with some bizarre theories. Playing with Saban players, using Jimbo "I couldn't get into the NFL" Fisher's playbook.

43/78 for 689 which is 8.83 yards per attempt and 56% completion percentage. He had 10 TDs with only 2 Ints. He had an average rating of 158.

In 2007, he had 6.71 yards per attempt average, 56% completion percentage, with 21 TDs and 11 Ints. His rating was 126.

So again, did Matt Flynn "suck" before Crowton got here?

Yes he did. And thanks to Crowton, LSU has a NC, and Matt's in the NFL.

Please.

We had the 99th ranked offense this season, and 112th ranked offense last season. The offense is this consistently bad and with no improvement whatsoever - and you are still sticking up for Gary Crowton. Amazing.

You telling me that even with all of the talent on hand, NO ONE could have done any better then 99th this season and dead last in passing in the SEC? You are delusional.

Are you suggesting that we did not use the 2006 playbook in 2007?

Dude you cant argue the record WE ARE 10-2! don't matter what talent you have if you don't have a descent QB then you have nothing. So you are saying with another OC then what would our record be?

I agree. You couldn't tell me why Crowton is a much more highly respected OC in the coaching field than Jimbo yesterday, and nothing's changed today.

Really? Using Jimbo's playbook? The NFL laughs at you. That is some funny sh*t.
