Folks, Crowton and Miles have done about the best you could do given our QB situation. We are 10-2 with very inconsistent QB play in the toughest conference in all the land. People keep talking about JJ or JL never reaching full potential but folks you can't always cure whats between the ears. JJ and JL will never be great much less good SEC qbs no matter who was coaching them. Give it up! Crowton has proven success when given something to work with. Miles is not a stupid person although sometimes that is questionable but he will make the right call.

#25 Ole Miss (#21 in total defense)

Auburn won 33-20.

Any other brain busters?

The offense coordinator is now responsible for the #68 rated defense in the country?

In AU's five SEC loses, their defense gave up an average of 30.6 points.

Is Chavis the reason our offense is ranked #100 in the country?

No but JJ is. If we could fire players would people want JJ or Crowton gone?

So is having a offense ranked in the bottom half of the country for three straight years.

There have been countless examples of poor play selection during Crowton's tenure at LSU.

There have been countless threads chronicling Crowton's struggles at other programs and the lack of productivity from the QB position at other programs.

To ignore this, is to ignore reality.

Who were the quarterbacks for the 3 straight years our offense has sucked? That is reality. NO SEC QB to speak of!

Who is responsible for QB play? And why do both our QBs have the same inconsistencies?

Why haven't the coaches recruited an SEC caliber QB?

You're not helping your case here

Crowton but the QBs all suck. Again you have to give Crowton the benefit of the doubt. No one else would have done any better. You can't always cure the brains sir.

If the QBs all suck why not bring in someone else?? And why were they brought to LSU in the first place if they suck?? It's not like LSU is such a hard place to sign a good QB. (It is now though, thanks to Gary Crowton)

And I beg to differ, there are about 100 offensive coordinators that could have done better then Crowton. You are right though, you can't cure brains and that's why Crowton has to go.

Crowton's QBs sucked at BYU

Dennis Dixon sucked under Crowton at Oregon

I guess Crowton is just the unluckiest OC/QB coach in history.

Why?

Countless posters have pointed out huge issues in regards to playcalling and scheme that have nothing to do with who is playing QB.

Why not give our QBs the benefit of the doubt for playing under a terrible OC?

Please.
