OC Cam Cameron rebuilding LSU's attack.
quote:
who knows...but if he has a negative attitude towards the changes and isn't putting in the effort to learn the system as best he can, I don't think Cam will hesitate to award someone else the job, assuming they earn it. With that said, I don't think this is the case, just commenting on skepticism of other posters.
We have THE absolute worst fans on the face of the fricking earth. Not even a full week into SPRING practice and already people are questioning Mett's leadership and excitement based on 2 interviews. Some of you crazy frickers need to step away and go get a fricking hug from mommy or something.
And you are basing millions of diverse humans across the globe who all happen to root for LSU based on a few random message board rants.

I think (*which is a dangerous phrase on the interwebz*) that Cameron coming from the NFL and being such an accomplished coordinator at the pro level can only help.
I like the pace, and ferocity that has been seen so far in practice. Hopefully this all translates to wins. The only catch-22 to spring drills, much like the Spring Game is you have to take all this with a massive grain of salt because the Tigers' only competition right now is themselves. Let's see how all the translates against TCU, Bama, and Florida

He may be doing it but we've heard it before, specifically last year, and it never happened.

When you know your offense has sucked for 5 years how do you not attempt to get the TE involved? As bad as our QB's were and we rarely involved the 2 easiest outlets, the TE's and the RB's.
It's mind boggling someone gets $4 million a year for that

I will say that Brees, Rivers, and Randle El were very positive, upbeat guys. Flacco was not and Flacco was the guy that Cam had a rockier relationship with of those four. Mett seems cut more out of the Flacco mold in terms of personality.

Something looks different, even with limited film that I have seen. I'm buying.

first stalled drive will have fans in an uproar and they will continue to say miles calls the plays.
First stalled drive and Les Miles fans will find someone else to blame.
The offense will be immensely better which will piss off a few of the fanclub since they think it was fine as it was.

First stalled drive and most fans we'll realize that drives stall sometimes....

The biggest difference is that we might actually see some sort of scheme with our Offense. There will still be multiple TE sets and plays that have worked well for our kids. We're still going to pound the football.
For those who are over analyzing Mett's interviews. The kid is working hard and is a high energy kid who stepped into many unblocked rusher last season. Is he a little frustrated..... I would be, but that doesn't say he isn't working hard or not the man for the job.

Why aren't you a Les Miles fan and don't you look for someone to blame too?

My stalker returns...

I've always been a Miles fan, I just don't put him above the program like many here do.

If you don't think LSU's offense will be more organized and more detailed in assignments and fundamentals than before Cam took over, you are simply a moron of Biblical proportions.
Where to begin? How does anyone know that the LSU offense will be "more organized and more detailed..blah, blah, blah."? What do you mean by more detailed? That makes no sense to me. Moreover, how can you possibly claim that anyone who does not agree with you about this is a moron of Biblical proportions? Wha...? Who were the morons in the Bible?
Is there any reasonable chance that you are incorrect about the LSU offense? I hope you do know what your are saying. BTW, please explain to us morons how you know all of this.

Do you honestly think it could get worse?
I'd put money on it that this offense will be significantly more "organized and detailed" than the previous. I doubt you hear quotes from opposing players like we heard from Townson's last year.
Really optimistic this offense will step up in a big way.

It can always get worse. I look forward to a much improved offense, but there is no way to know because of the changes that are part of every new season. I may be jaded by the gross offensive underachievement of the past few years. I will remain highly skeptical of CLMs ability to get an offense going until he actually does it.

In my opinion everything is on him, good, bad or indifferent.

Eh, every year I get a little optimistic,. this year more than ever. I think it's the real deal this time

What did the Townson players say last year? I didn't hear any of the follow up stuff after the game.

I think a db said they knew the routes our receivers were going to run before the snap...
