2 things: Study the film and you will see Nussmeier has an injury.

Also, study the film and see that the OL is not bad.

Film shows two items:

1. Nuss has a leg injury and couldn’t put a lot of weight on lead leg during this and reason for floating throws a lot.

2. Many times he went to wrong WR and not take off with all defenders falling back. Running QB would make defenses adjust and give more opportunities for the receivers.

Lastly, 90% QB issue. The other 10% is blocking better.

Film shows a dual threat QB would have tortured Ole Miss.

Nuss is what he’s always been. Forces throws into double and triple coverage. His throws are late and has poor mobility and pocket awareness

If Nuss looks this bad in games, then how effective is he in practice. If he is practicing like this then it's no wonder that the offense is crap ... the whole offense is getting poor practice reps.
