All you need to do is read the next sentence. The national anthem is played with the players on the sidelines in LSU baseball and basketball. Bottom line, as long as I don't see it they can do what they want. As long as LSU doesn't bring politics into LSU sports by endorsing BLM or kneeling during the national anthem, I don't have a problem. They can kneel for 2 hours before or after the anthem; just not during the anthem.

For the sake of argument let's discuss the NFL and NBA for a moment. By kneeling, who are the players talking to? You ?? Are you an oppressor of black people? Who are they pointing their message at? Are you guilty of oppression of black people? At the end of the day, they can only point their message at those who are watching. I won't watch if that's their intention. I'm not a white supremacist and I'm not racist. They picked the wrong platform if they want me to pay attention.
