I can't see it. We will more than likely lose to Bama and Ole Miss which will mean at least 4 losses. How do we not lose more than one of these games (Florida, Kentucky, Texas A & M and Arkansas.) I keep hearing the Miles faithful saying that we will make changes and adapt. I keep hearing "we can only get better." Folks, take off the purple and gold $150 ray bans and sip on your margarita and listen close. LSU picked the worst year EVER to have a BAD team. You can't win on talent anymore. It requires some creative coaching. Let Cameron call the plays Leslie and lets try to salvage a bowl.

If you don't think LSU can win the UF, UK, A&M and Ark games, punch out and go home - we don't need you.

7-5 would be an amazing turnaround for this season and a time for hope.

At A & M dude. Don't forget that. Mett is in the pros and so is the best wide receiver tandem that LSU has ever produced.

stop it. playing those games back to back on the road to end the season would be difficult with a good team, which we have yet to show this year.

Not sure it's based on play calling alone. But I do agree 7-5 6-6 is the most realistic expectations. I see winning against Florida and Kentucky as extremely plausible. I was at the OM/Bama game. Both of those defenses are nasty. Can't see our putrid offense doing much against that. A&M's defense is just as poor as ours, but at least their offense scores. Arkansas is much improved and will be out for blood against us. So I can easily see 5-7 7-5. I would be ecstatic with anything better.

Somebody knows football. Thanks USARMYDasher
It's sad but it's true. I love the Tigers but I see no leaders on this team and no coaching improvements.

I'm not calling it a win, I just think LSU CAN win it.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised to see LSU beat UF, lose to KY, beat Mississippi and Bama, and lose to A&M and Ark.

It's college football, there are a lot more uncontrolled variables than in the NFL.

I posted a really good thread about offensive and defensive breakdown but pretty sure it went over most people's head. I'm not calling for any specific quarterback, but neither of them can complete simple passes. One of the things coaches do to mask inefficiencies in a certain aspect of the game is steer away from it. Can't pass? Just run. I understand it's not ideal. Just happens. We're not the first team to have this happen to. Get as much experience to as many people as you possibly can and try to salvage what you can.

Sure they can win. How many games do you think LSU will be a favorite on from here on out. Kentucky? Maybe. It all depends on the Florida game. What some of you don't understand about sports is that teams will lose morale and trust in the coaching staff and their players when they are on a losing streak. LSU is real close to being that team that "gives up". It can happen in a heart beat and this team looks like it could happen any given moment because we have NO LEADERS.

We tend to play up once or twice, even in mediocre years. I wouldn't be surprised if we upset one of Bama or Ole Miss, more likely the former since it's at home.

I could definitely see a 7-5 season. 6-6 even. I also believe that we have the talent win some games we shouldn't, if coaching gets out of the way

you almost had it buddy. you were almost there....than you had to go and ruin it by throwing this out there.

just for future reference...you never could win on talent alone. using this mantra pretty much dismisses your entire argument

ETA: also...how do you know Cam isn't calling the plays? he isn't getting paid to sit in the booth and do crosswords
