Wanting it and saying it are two different things. By saying it in the interview, JJ made it about him and not the team. Everybody who plays a sport wants to start, that is common sense, but that doesn't mean you make that kind of statement in an interview when your team is 5-0 without you.
Get over it.

You do realize that what you say and what you want are two diff things?
Fwiw I couldn't care less what he says.
It's all over after tomorrow night anyways.

Both of those links are all about what he had to "overcome," as if he was not the person that put himself in that position to begin with.
Again, its all about JJ, not the team.

My point is that you mentioning his "other stuff" serves non purpose other than you trying make it out like a scrub fricking writer wrote a piece that gave jlee some props.
You aren't fooling anyone.
Just say you wished he wouldn't have written it.

Was JL asked the direct question of whether he would like to start?
If so, how did he answer?
Also, why ignore the end of JJs answer where he said whatever is best for the team.
Do you not like your QBs to have a competitive drive?

You do realize I can read and distinguish the different questions asked to each individual and the ways their answers were presented?
What is it that I want?
And no, my screenname actually has nothing to do with Jarrett Lee and pick 6s so here is a preemptive GTFO, GFY, FWIW, FIFY, PIIHB

You're an idiot. I don't like the writer. THis was a good piece with Lee that I enjoyed reading. I can say whether I like the damn writer or not, deal with it.
I'm not attacking your golden boy, dipshit.

quote:What's funny is that, because of your bias, you think that there is something wrong with Jefferson saying: (1) being the starting QB was a personal goal, (2) being the starting QB was important to him, (3) he was willing to do whatever it took to get the starting position, and (4) realizing that him starting was, at that point in time, not what was best for the team.
Funny when the shoe was on the other foot JJ made the following comment regarding being the starting QB:
"It's a personal goal of mine," he said. "It's very important to me. I would do whatever it takes to get to that situation, but as of right now it's for what's best for the team."
Asked if he could live with being a backup and coming in as the second option for a portion of or for the rest of this season, Jefferson said, "Um, whatever's best for the team. That's what I'm going to do."
Twice, Jefferson states that he wants whatever's best for the team. Twice.
At no point did Jefferson say that he wants what's before for him in spite of the team.
Soooo, you shite on Jefferson because he states that he's going to do whatever's best for the team, and he is going to work his tail off to do whatever it takes to achieve his goals.
Yeah, who would want their QB to say that?

You could be a high school dropout as far as I know.
Also your screen name prob means td throw by jlee.
For fricks sake, stop acting like a girl about it.

Good job answering the question a-hole.

Best thing you've ever posted.
Dpshit.
That's one thing we can all be happy about tomorrow night regardless of what final score says.

Has it been confirmed that BT is TIGRLEE? It is pretty much a given.

Same exact posting style.

The dregs of our fanbase just cannot help themselves. Disgusting it is the day before LSU earns it's 3rd NC in 9 yrs and these slugs are bitching.

He's the only poster who has accused my screenname of being a knock on JLee, which it is not.
I did a preemptive 'that's not what my screenname means' statement so he could focus on the content of my post. Then he got riled up about the screenname thing (which TIGRLEE usually does). Didn't think it was him til that response.

Yeah, I'm with you. I'd say I'm surprised that there would be fans trashing a player on their own team a day before the national championship game, but I'd be lying. I expect it from this segment of the fanbase.
