Making the trip up to Knoxville next weekend and attempting to plan ahead -

Can anyone give me any tips, pointers, places to tailgate, etc. about campus? Are there any "No Ice-chests, no beer" rules like at Ole Miss or anything to be weary about?

I heard G10 is the place to park/be, but tickets to PARK there start at $175 on StubHub...

Thanks in advance, and

Yesterday's Post on Tiger Rant

I do remember from 2011, you'll get written up if you have an open container and step on a sidewalk. LSU groups rented vacant lots or parking lots and roped off for tailgates. All good as long as they stayed on private property.

I was there in May 2016 for baseball and can tell you that their strip (Cumberland Ave) is a total mess for a few years for construction.

I went in 2001 it was a pretty cool experience area is really nice but I figured out how they fit so many in the stadium the bleacher style seat number are so close together I had to sit in the aisle. Security guy kept giving me shite but the section I was in which was mostly LSU fans everyone was bitching. Maybe it has changed since then.

I am making the trip down from New York with a group of 20. I spoke to a few people at the university who recommended Circle Park, but need to get there extremely early to stake your claim. Have also been told of a few LSU fans that are renting boats on the river.

I'll have a measly group of 6 compared to your 20. Do you park at Circle Park? Or do you know if it is a park-and-walk type deal?
