McCarty’s record is 197-43 (.820) in 18 seasons. Alongside four state titles and two runner-up finishes, the Tigers have made 11 semifinal appearances, reached the quarterfinal round in each of the past 11 years and never missed the playoffs under McCarty.

If he gets the job, who becomes the new coach?

Mazda or Nissan?
I'm not sure Chris cares and the Nissan guy Sparks not really understanding what he ever did for this comment.

Does anyone know why he never had interest in going to the college ranks? Seems like he would have and sure fire opportunities, and would have done a great job.

Some wanted him to get ulm job few years ago. Pretty sure he would have taken a pay cut. J/K

quote:Ive never asked him, we haven't spoke but a handful of times over the years, but I would imagine he just loves being a HS coach, we both were coached by a guy that we loved and taught us a lot in just a short time. There is just something about HS football and Friday nights, I just assumed it was in his blood.
