I do find it funny when they act like we are making a big mistake with this, it's all because we can't beat Bama and Saban, and then and list all of Les accomplishments and all that... Impressive, no doubt. But they dont mention the fact that he's 13-10 in the SEC the last few years, so it's not just Bama. Don't talk about how we are 1-3 in bowl games the last 4 years. Or about how shitty our QB play has been, our ancient offensive philosophy, or about the fact that Les has to be hands on when or comes to the offense. Or how we are trending in the wrong direction.
Herbstreet still recommends that we keep Miles another year, but he did call him out before the game Sat for his 80s offensive philosophy and said the gripes with the recent SEC record, Bama losses, and QB play are legitimate. He's one of the few to recognize this publicly.
However, his final recommendation was to keep Les, and for him to hire an innovative young coordinator, and give him full control. Unfortunately, that is where he lost me. We've been through 5 guys (4 who actually were OCs during play), and there is never been an indication that Les would get out of the way. If he won't, then what is the point of yet another OC?

You might want to convey the same to the team which is not happy at all about this change. It's not just the fans and media the guys who have to produce on the field aren't happy at all either

The media only seems to talk positively about LSU when we are facing Bama so Bama's win looks better than it actually is. Or, they'll hype us up only to speak on Saban's coaching abilities. They've never truly given us our props & they are quick to predict us to be 3rd or 4th in the SEC West. So, I take what they are now saying as bullshite. After the NC fiasco in 2012,they were saying how great we could be with a different coach. What if an offensive guru like Chip Kelly coached that defense? They all said that crap. They were all calling for Les' head when Tyrann got kicked off the the team. They said that we would never top Bama because we had a player's coach and Bama had a stern disciplinarian. But, now that we've finally decided to go with a new approach while we still have some talent and promising recruiting classes; we are kicking a "great" coach out the door. We weren't supposed to be good anyways. 8 wins was our projection anyways. Let's ignore the fact that this team has come out unprepared every single game for the past month. Let's ignore the fact that out special teams play has been horrible all season long and has not improved. Let's ignore the fact that our defense can't get stops on 3rd down to save their lives. Let's ignore the fact that we regularly get false start penalties or that we burn a timeout or two per game because we can't get the play off in time. Let's ignore the other dumb penalties we get that costs us big gains. Let's ignore the fact that our "great" coach doesn't know why this is happening. But, these same "journalists" and "reporters" think we are doing some horrible thing.

Alluvia needs to be fired. This whole thing has been a shiteshow and has just been another embarrassment for the university.

I'm glad they're making it difficult. If the powers that be are gonna make a move like this, they sure as frick better wear that shite. What did they expect?

We not only need to stick together, but we also need to quit looking past our next opponent.
