my experience at the game

we showed up Friday night and bought an entire yard from a home owner for our tailgate on Hackberry Street ... great spot to people watch and catch a bunch of "roll tide". Gotta admit we noticed the Bama fans seemed a little on edge and there was no friendly exchange, lots of "f-yous" and middle fingers and even a few "go home coona$$"
We started the morning at 7 am with the GBFTL Pregame, one of the neighbors came out and told us to "turn that shite down!" but we ignored him of course.
Our hosts were extremely cool folks, they partied with us all day. They even got tired of the Bama fans cursing and ugliness and started giving them a bunch of grief on our behalf.
We had the music cranked all day and gotta say I am tired of the "Wobble"
Never get tired of Geaux Tigers tho'
We cooked a pig in our custom LSU cajun microwave and had about 100 folks show up to eat. I think we fed almost every LSU fan we saw.
The day ended on a down note; four fights around us with one including our crew when a grown Bama fan didn't like one of our teenagers saying "good game". His brother stepped in to keep his 100lb little brother from getting walloped and took down the Bama fan. After that we tore down the tailgate.
Overall it was a great experience, the campus is beautiful, the people above 35 years old are pretty gracious even in defeat. The LSU folks were plentiful. I look forward to going back to the same spot in two years
