MVB was thrown in as True Freshman against a sole SEC slate (6 Top 20 teams)

We all saw how Bryce Underwood did at OU as a true freshman. MVB played significantly better than Underwood has against top competition (not cupcakes) in a very tough SEC SOS last year. He had no warmup games. His very first full starts were @ Texas, and @ UGA. 2 Top 5 teams by end of year.
He also played on a terrible team with no offensive weapons. His skill players here & already pretty large SEC starting experience, point to him doing better than how he did last year. I don't see how he does worse than Nuss, BUT...
Even if he performs worse than Nuss, I would rather figure out if he can, do worse, then put Nuss back in... compared to never figuring out and having subpar offensive play for the rest of the year. I would rather see, it go poorly, than to not see at all. Because at this point, we are definitely not a serious CFP contender.
On deep balls, Nuss was putting everything he had into throwing rainbow throws that maxed out at maybe 40 mph and were short of the WR by 5 yards. He's obviously hurt. He used to sling it and have no problem with those throws, not it's duck rainbow throws that are significantly short of WRs. Even his short pass game is inaccurate that led to Aaron Anderson getting injured. He's hurt. Pretty apparent at how much less zip his ball has despite him cranking back as far as he can to try to throw as far as he can.
