He did fine receiving the ball and blocking the plate. Not sure about the ability to throw runners out because I don’t think Florida tested him one time which was surprising. He is definitely still struggling to hit although he has not looked horrible like he has all year. I think Garza’s biggest problem right now hitting the ball is the ability to recognize a good or bad pitch to swing at. It may be just confidence right now as he was supposedly smashing the ball all off season. The potential is there though

Garza looks like a player. Hopefully he continues to improve. Finally got his first HR. Expect more soon.
